CT-based digital marketing agency adopts new brand to reflect its full suite of service offerings
What do you do to celebrate your company’s completion of 25 years in business? If you’re Tom Barton, CEO of Web Solutions, you make the decision to complete a major rebranding and you head into your next quarter-century in business as Exposure.
“I think that our 25th anniversary was a very pivotal milestone for us,” noted Barton. “We had successfully navigated multiple recessions and the pandemic, and we relocated to an amazing new building. It motivated me to really think about our goals moving forward and how we can achieve them.”
What Barton kept coming back to was the evolution his company had undergone in those 25 years. When it started in 1996 as Web Solutions, the company provided just that to clients. “In the early years, we were heavily focused on website development,” said Barton. “The web was a new piece of the marketing pie for most of our clients and our primary service was building websites from the ground up.”
Internet innovation continued, and over the course of the last two decades, Web Solutions expanded its service offerings to include a full suite of marketing services. Today, the company helps clients across countless industries with creative, branding, digital marketing, and web development needs.
“I knew that our brand was conveying only a fraction of what we do,” said Barton, “and we were ready to rebrand holistically—to show our clients and the market all that we are capable of.”
Barton reflected that he participated in countless meetings with clients where they expressed that their main goal was to gain more exposure. “Every time I’d hear that statement, it resonated with me. In a nutshell, that is the essence of what we do every day for our clients.”
Although rebranding, the company is making no structural changes. “We are still the same great team and the same company that our clients trust,” said Barton.
In addition to the new name, the company has adapted a new tagline, “Marketing that gets you noticed” and will utilize an updated web address, Exposure.com. “Our goal for Exposure is to build long-lasting relationships with clients and to provide the help that they need in order to grow,” Barton remarked. “I couldn’t think of a better way to head into this next chapter of the company.”
