VYNE Restaurant & Bar opened inside the Middlebury Consignment Shop this summer, and is already getting rave reviews, with six 5-star reviews on TripAdvisor and 4.8 ratings on both Facebook and Google.
Middlebury Consignment, a unique furniture showroom and gift shop, opened in 2009 and has become one of the most popular consignment and used furniture store in Connecticut.
Because visitors were spending hours shopping, Middlebury Consignment opened a lunch café, which it has now remodeled and transformed into a fine dining restaurant.
To accompany the revamped restaurant, VYNE launched a new website with a gallery of professional food photography, and downloadable menus featuring the classic yet inventive dishes created by Chef Michael Trudeau.
"With the launch of a new restaurant, we wanted an online space to communicate with our guests and give them a feel for the place before they arrive," said Jason Van Stone, director of marketing. "The site gives our guests just what we had hoped—access to our menus, our calendar of upcoming events, info on our vision and a spot for them to request a reservation."
