Tardif Landscape & Excavation Visit the website
Northern Fence, which installs all types of fencing; and Tardif Landscape & Excavation, which does landscaping, hardscaping, and decorative concrete; were two companies with two things in common. They had the same owner, and they needed new websites.
Web Solutions began by replacing the existing Northern Fence site, which was built in Wix, with a new website in its Content Management System v4 platform using the Web Solutions Penguin theme. The new site features large photos, plus a product ribbon featuring the four main types of fencing the company offers—vinyl fencing, arbors and pergolas, chain link fencing, and ornamental fencing.
Once the Northern Fence site was complete, Web Solutions duplicated the site for Tardif Landscape, so the two sites have their own content but share a uniform look. The product ribbon on the Tardif site highlights landscape design, decorative concrete, and tree and shrub planting. The sites cross link to each other with a main navigation item and a callout on the home page.
In addition to the websites, Web Solutions updated the logos for both companies. The Northern Fence logo got a small update, while the Tardif logo was completely redone, with a new font, colors, and a more modern look. For consistency, both logos feature a design element that incorporates the first letter of the company name.
