Southington Tool & Manufacturing is a metal stamping and wire forming components supplier to the medical, aerospace, automotive, and other markets, and the maker of the Tagger ski tag wire.
Southington Tool contracted Web Solutions to built a new site for the company, which was created in the Web Solutions Content Management System v4, using the Penguin theme. The theme was slightly customized to allow five boxes rather than the standard three to highlight Southington Tool’s main capabilities—metal stamping, wire forming, engineering services, quality management, and other capabilities—and with a custom trade show ribbon that disappears when there is no upcoming trade show to promote.
Displaying the parts it has produced is an important way for Southington Tool to show potential customers what the company can do, so the new site includes new photography of the parts it has manufactured, and enables users to click on a photo to see a larger image.
