The Connecticut Suicide Advisory Board (CTSAB) is a collaborative network of advocates, educators, and leaders dedicated to addressing the problem of suicide with a focus on prevention, intervention, response, and promoting health and wellness.
Prevent Suicide CT, a statewide website that provides resources for people who need help, as well as anyone interested in suicide prevention, intervention and response, had an existing website but it was text-heavy and out of date. The CTSAB was looking for a new website that offered the latest design and functionality as well as an improved user experience.
Web Solutions built a new WordPress website with a more streamlined design and intuitive navigation, including featuring key resources with colorful, easy to find buttons on the home page.
The new site also lets individuals and organizations order free educational and promotional materials that support and supplement Connecticut’s suicide prevention initiatives, such as posters, brochures, wallet cards, and presentations.
“We hope our website is a rich source of support for preventing suicide, but also for those who have lost a loved one and for those who need to intervene and provide support to family, friends, schools and communities,” said Jeanette Baker, Marketing Coordinator.
“The site is user-friendly and is helping to increase traffic from across the globe. We’re pleased to be a resource for so many.”
