Coconuts Tanning Salon & Boutique is a full-service, family-owned and -operated tanning and waxing salon. It has been in business for 20 years, and just opened in a new Rocky Hill Location.
Coconuts had a existing website built in WordPress, but it was outdated and difficult to update. Coconuts owner Catherine Tierney wanted a new website with a fresh look that would allow them to accept bookings online.
Web Solutions built a new website in its proprietary Content Management System v4, using the Penguin theme. The site features a fresh, colorful new design, and is full-width, mobile-responsive, and easy to use and update.
A Google photographer came to the new Coconuts Tanning location to take photos, including 360° virtual views to add to its Google My Business profile, and Web Solutions was also able to use some of those photos for the website.
Tierney says her favorite features of the new site are online booking, being able to send reminders to clients’ phones, click-to-call on mobile devices, and the simple navigation. She also likes the image slider on the home pages, which alternates between photos of a tanning bed, boutique, and smoothie bar.
