Account Manager

Are you dedicated to delivering exceptional work to clients? We are looking for an individual with expert management and communications chops to join us as an Account Manager. This is a unique role being added to the team that will work primarily with one of our large accounts. We are looking for a seasoned professional with the dynamic organizational and problem-solving skills needed to oversee multiple web and digital projects who can also flex their communications, writing, and strategy muscles. Our ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented perfectionist with a passion for client success, a curiosity for new initiatives, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced agency environment.

This is a full-time position in-person at our centrally located offices in Wallingford, CT.

Your position from day to day:

  • Interact with clients’ points of contact to fully understand the problem to be solved, clearly develop project specifications, and oversee the internal team in the successful completion of the solution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams as well as the client to identify opportunities for enhancing the current marketing products including, but not limited to, websites, print materials, display advertising, email marketing, social media campaigns, video production, and more.
  • Provide project management support for long-range projects including website development / redevelopment and multi-faceted marketing campaigns.
  • Be responsible for the quality of each product and proactively review existing work to uphold a high level of functionality and accuracy on all client work.
  • Provide comprehensive and full-service event marketing support for clients including registration emails, event-related press releases and marketing initiatives, and the development of presentation decks for client events.
  • Serve as a liaison between Exposure clients and their clientele / audience and provide timely and effective support as appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field
  • 5+ years of account management experience, preferably in an agency setting, with a demonstrated ability to think through complex problems and develop effective solutions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 required
  • Proficiency with additional tools including, but not limited to, WordPress, Constant Contact, MailChimp, Canva, and GA4 desired
  • Event planning and event support experience a plus
